Crazy kids!

So it a rainy Friday and me and kids are being a little crazy so here are a couple of random videos we just filmed for your enjoyment.

Jaxon and Gatlin graduated from preschool on Wednesday. Jaxon was the narrator for the book, The Hungry Hungry Caterpillar, he did such a good job. The video I have didn't pick up his voice very well so I'm just going to post the end of the program when all the kids danced for the parents.

Life on the Ensign Ranch

Here are a few random pictures around the Ranch. The closest town to the Ranch is Roslyn. They have named all their streets after the states. I was so excited to find Utah.
Crabtree Lake

It's pretty everywhere you look.

Mowing is a constant, Harry doesn't mind though.

It's pretty even when it rains.

It's a smart idea to keep a umberella handy.

life in a 26 foot trailer

Don't get me wrong, I am thankful for our trailer but sometimes it can be a little too "up close and personal" if you know what I mean. There's not much wiggle room.
Last one up has to make the bed. We found it is easier to make it before we get up and out.

It"s a place to hang our hat,

And kick off our shoes. (lots of shoes and no where to put them.)

Our "computer desk" What would we do with out it. The internet has been such a blessing!

Our craft room, office and oh yes kitchen table.

Some times getting ready to go somewhere at the same time can be quite a challange! It's a good thing we love each other so much!

ride'm cowpoke!

Hold on to your cowboy hat (or helmet) what ever the case may be cause we're a going riding.Getting the horses ready, first they get a drink and some oats then the saddles.

Yes, can you believe it I'm going to ride a horse! The last time I rode a horse I was in Jr. High! I was riding bare back behind my friend, I fell off and pulled her off with me!

They needed the whole staff to go out with the horses so they could ride as many as possible. I look terrified!

Getting to know my horsie, I went on Zacharias( Zack for short.) He is 20 years old and as lazy as an old dog on a hot summer day. Least that's what they told me.

Harry got to ride Harry.

Allie oop. I made it up half the battle was won.

Harry looked a lot more confident that I was feeling.

The ride is over, thank goodness I made it. I didn't even fall off! I really don't think I'll be a cowgirl when I grow up, I like my feet on the ground. The real reason I did this was so I could blog it! Now that is crazy.

Little Josh

Here's my little Josh he is getting so BIG! He has some of the funny faces, I just love him. He is almost walking. Ruth gave him the little car walker and he loves it, that is if Ellsie will let him have it.

Spring Sports

Jaxon was warming up for a game, but it was raining so hard they ended up canceling it. I was really glad I was soaking wet. Jaxon loves to playing soccer and looks forward to it every week. His team is doing really good they haven't lost a game yet.

A walk through Ensign Ranch

On Mother's Day Harry and I took a long walk through the ranch, it was such a beautiful day. These are a few pictures we took . A view from the ground up of the trees.
Ensign Road

A friendly little critter.

A not so friendly giant ant hill.

Sitting at Riverbend (my favorite place) in my Mother's Day hat, Harry bought me to keep the sun off my nose.

My cute little Harry at Riverbend.

Mother's Day hat.

Harry trying to decide where to go. These are some of the names of the campgrounds at the ranch. We enjoy going for walks here, we certainly can't go for walks like this right out side our door at home. There is always so much to see.

Seattle Washington Temple

We were able to go to the Seattle Washington Temple on May 11. We left early in the morning to get there for the 9:00 session. It was a beautiful rainy morning. The clouds hung low around the mountains. View of the mountains from the car window.

Seattle Washington temple.

Here we are

Some of the "young muscle" we serve with at the ranch, Michel Kidman, Brock Ball and Catie Buckner.
While we were walking around the grounds a man kept watching us I said hi to him and he said hi and asked if we wanted him to take a picture of all of us so he took this group picture. After he took the picture he started asking us questions about the temple and the church. It was fun talking to him. He said it was so peaceful there even though we were so close to the freeway. When he said that I looked past his shoulder and I was surprised, I didn't realize we were so close and I couldn't even hear the freeway at all. It was amazing.

Thursday, May 6, 2010

Well here we are at the Ensign Ranch, We are having a fun time, and working very hard. I like the way Harry looks in his rugged ranch clothes. He's so cute.
She seems to think he is pretty cute too!

Harry and the giant rope.

I love watching the horses but they make me a bit nervous. Harry says we can't go home until I feed one right out of my hand. I don't think that is going to happen.

Here is a little video of Harry driving the tractor, he is spreading the horse poopie around. He had a good time.
